Enkidu went from gazelle roommate to city dweller after bread, beer, and a spa day. What would it take to civilize you?

I/we lived in the Chicago suburbs for 45 years before moving to rural central Missouri. When driving back to the Chicago area (we still have family there), when we get into the congestion we almost always comment “I’m glad we don’t live here!”.

Used to live in the city. Still like to visit. But out here in Sebastopol with the gazelles is my jam.
