2023 Fitz Roy Pinot Noir, Casablanca Valley, Chile
The Fitz Roy Pinot Noir is a vibrant, cool-climate red wine produced in Chile by the Elixir Wine Group in collaboration with the Lurton brothers. It offers a beautifully fresh and delicate expression of the Pinot Noir grape.
Sensory Notes
Aroma: Fragrant, fruit-forward nose of fresh red cherry, strawberry, and red plum, often lifted by subtle floral notes. Palate: Medium-bodied and approachable with juicy red fruit flavors, a well-defined structure, and a smooth, silky mouthfeel. Finish: Clean, easy-drinking, and bright, with soft tannins and a lingering red berry finish. Style: Dry, delicate, and fruit-forward.
Pairings
Because of its bright acidity and soft tannins, this wine is incredibly versatile. It pairs perfectly with lighter dishes such as:
Poached or grilled salmon
Mushroom risotto
Charcuterie and cured meats
Duck or roasted chicken

@ScottW58@user28035125 As soon as I saw “confused” this was the first thing I thought of. I was a big fan back in the day (1969 was my high school graduation year). Never saw them live. But the Moody Blues are always at the top of my list (and I got to see them at the old Chicago Stadium on Oct 31, 1973, and a couple of times later at Ravinia).
@Mark_L@user28035125
Some friends and I had tickets for Steppenwolf and Steely Dan/King Crimson and I traded my tickets to see them, sadly I’m still sad I never got to see Steppenwolf on that note I never got to see Pink Floyd either damn. My graduation was 76.

, same as here.
@InFrom @netcommsyn
Perhaps we could that CT link shared for all…
@InFrom @netcommsyn @rjquillin I see the wine entered in CT… but zero tasting notes
@rjquillin You’re asking @netcommsyn?
@InFrom @netcommsyn
S/he is the one claiming positive CT reviews we’d all like to see.
@rjquillin I’m thinking maybe it was meant in jest.

@Mark_L @user28035125
Outstanding! I saw them once many decades ago when they opened for Steely Dan at the Whiskey a go go. God I’m old
